Double stone ring with open shank. Purple stones. One smooth and one faceted. Large and small. Contemporary. Fun to wear.
The ring was made by hand in my studio using traditional silver smith techniques. The small faceted stone is an amethyst. The oval stone is Swedish ore glass or slag.
The slag comes as the byproduct of metal smelting (iron, copper, etc) in 16th - 18th century in Sweden.
The ring is a size 7 1/2 but can be opened up a bit so the size range is about 7 1/2 - 8 1/2.
