A few little specks of color are reflected in the sparkling clear glass stone on this silver ring.
The oval shaped clear and dichroic glass stone sparkles from within. It reflects light and colors in a few spots. It was made from a hand-cut stack of clear and scraps of dichroic glass that I fired in my kiln.
The stone is surrounded and backed with sterling silver and soldered onto a 12 gauge sterling silver wire band. The stone extends about 1/4" above the ring, higher in some spots, and is a little over 1/2" wide and 3/4" long.
All the silver was hand-cut, shaped, filed, soldered, etc. at Lyon Pond Studio.
Ring size is 8 3/4 at present but it could be sized up to 9 if needed.
