Bright Purple rustic dangle earrings sway with your movement.
They hang about 2 3/4" from the post.
The purple stone is made from dichroic glass and the color changes with the light from deep purple all the way to almost magenta. See the last image for an example.
The middle component is made from reticulated silver and has a thin layer of 22kt gold painted on and burnished into it. A lot of texture in this.
At the bottom hangs a diamond shaped quartz with a few gold colored strands inside it (rutilated)*.
The earrings were made by hand in my studio using traditional silver smithing techniques. I also fused the glass myself in the studio.
These should not be put in a tumbler to shine the silver. Use a cloth. Tumbling would damage the finish and texture on the purple dichroic glass.
