Silver necklace with pendant featuring lapis lazuli. The contemporary teardrop and circle pendant is a simple statement piece.
This necklace is comprised of links that have been made from sterling silver, formed into rings then lightly hammered, giving the rings a little texture, sparkle and a more organic shape.
It fastens securely with a handmade hook. The hook opens from either side so the chain can be evenly adjusted shorter if desired.
The diameter of the links varies from 7/8" diameter down to 3/8" diameter.
The total length of the necklace is 22". It can be adjusted shorter by putting either side of the clasp into different rings to keep the necklace even.
The pendant measures about 2" in height and about 1" at its widest point.
Made in the Studio from 16 and 18 gauge sterling silver wire. Each of the links and the pendant was formed using traditional silver smithing techniques.
