Silver ring with a shimmering glass stone is a unique contemporary addition to your collection.
The freeform rectangular multicolored dichroic glass stone sparkles from within because of the dichroic glass that reflects light.
The branching lines in the glass make me think of branches in Spring before leafing out.
The stone was made from a hand-cut stack of clear and dichroic glass that I fired in my kiln.
The stone is surrounded with textured silver wire. It is also backed with sterling silver and soldered onto a split shank silver band. The stone with its surrounding silver extends about 1/4" above the ring and is almost 1" long and 3/4" wide.
All the silver was hand-sawn, hammered, filed, soldered, oxidized, etc. at Lyon Pond Studio.
Ring size is 8 1/2 but could be sized up to 9 if needed. Make that choice when ordering.
